Homeschool Education

Homeschooling is a meaningful and life-giving journey, but it can also feel overwhelming or isolating when parents are left to navigate everything on their own. Elevated Earth offers a supportive, structured, and community-centered approach that blends classical education, nature-based learning, and compassionate weekly guidance. The program is led by Dr. Kat Holloway, an educator and curriculum designer with a Ph.D. in Counselor Education & Supervision, an M.A. in Psychology, a B.S. in Psychology, and a M.S. in Early Childhood Education. Although this program does not provide counseling for children, Dr. Kat’s background allows her to guide parents with evidence-informed strategies to support their children’s emotional well-being, motivation, executive functioning, and learning needs in a non-clinical, educational manner. The Elevated Earth Homeschool Circle is designed to give families structure, clarity, and confidence in a warm, supportive community environment.

The Elevated Earth Homeschool Circle
$200 per month per family
$100 per month for each additional child in the same household

This weekly online group provides individualized curriculum and personalized family support within a small community of other homeschooling families. Each week includes a live Zoom meeting with Dr. Kat and a complete custom curriculum plan for every child in the household.

Weekly Zoom Meetings (60–75 minutes)
Families meet weekly with Dr. Kat for guidance, planning, and connection. These meetings include a walkthrough of the upcoming week’s academic goals, classical teaching strategies adapted for home settings, developmental insights for supporting children’s emotional and learning needs, time for each family to ask questions, and a supportive environment where parents learn alongside one another. This structure helps ensure that every family begins each week with clarity and confidence.

Fully Personalized Weekly Curriculum
Every child receives an individualized weekly curriculum delivered by email. Plans are tailored to the child’s age, learning stage, academic level, personality, interests, and home environment. Curriculum includes math progression, literature and history readings, copywork or writing prompts, Socratic questions, scinece, art, and nature-based projects, and optional agriculture-focused learning activities. Each child receives their own plan, and parents receive a weekly overview summarizing all children’s goals in one place for easy planning.

Individualized Support in a Group Format
Even though this is a group program, each family receives personalized guidance during the weekly meeting. Dr. Kat addresses each child’s learning needs, pacing, behavior challenges, and strengths while also offering suggestions parents can implement right away. The group format builds community and shared wisdom, while individualized guidance ensures no family feels lost or unsupported.

Between-Session Email Support
Families can reach out throughout the week for help with academic planning, behavior concerns, routine adjustments, or curriculum adaptations. Parents receive helpful feedback and practical strategies so challenges don’t derail the week’s learning.

Pricing
$200 per month per family, which includes weekly Zoom meetings, individualized weekly curriculum for one child, a weekly parent overview, email support, and full access to Elevated Earth curriculum materials.
$100 per month for each additional child, including their own weekly customized curriculum and individualized attention during group discussions.

Why Families Choose This Model
Parents are never left guessing what to do next. Children receive individualized academic plans rather than one-size-fits-all worksheets. Families benefit from the support of a knowledgeable educator and the encouragement of a community. The Homeschool Circle provides a sense of belonging, clarity, and steadiness, especially for families beginning their homeschool journey or seeking more structure.

Summer Enrichment Programs and Extra-Curricular Services

Summer at Elevated Earth: Where Creativity Takes Root and Kids Come Alive

During the summer, we transform long, slow days into unforgettable adventures! At Elevated Earth, art and agriculture collide in the most magical way—creating enrichment programs and week-long camps that spark curiosity, confidence, and pure joy.

Designed to beat the summer slump, our hands-on programs invite school-age children into a world where learning feels like discovery. Kids dig into farming, explore the natural world, and then channel everything they’ve experienced into vibrant creative expression. From planting under the sunshine to crafting art inspired by the colors and textures of the land, every moment becomes a chance to grow.

What makes our program different?
We focus on process over perfection. Here, children are encouraged to explore, play, and create without fear of judgment. That freedom unlocks something powerful—self-trust, imagination, and the realization that their own ideas are worth celebrating.

Each workshop is thoughtfully designed around your child’s unique interests and developmental needs. Whether they’re experimenting with paint, sculpting from natural materials, or learning new skills alongside newfound friends, they’re building academic strength, social confidence, and emotional resilience in a supportive, structured environment. Parents may contact us anytime at elevatedearth.org@gmail.com. Internships for Young Adults

Grow Skills. Grow Community. Grow Yourself.
The Elevated Earth Internship Experience

Elevated Earth offers a unique, hands-on internship program for young adults who want to learn sustainable agriculture, ethical animal care, and the fusion of art with farming. Our farm is a living classroom where interns grow in responsibility, leadership, creativity, and community engagement. No college enrollment is required—just a genuine interest in learning, growing, and contributing to a mission-based nonprofit.

We currently offer two internship tracks, both rooted in education rather than labor. Because each intern receives structured instruction, mentoring, and weekly training, this program follows a tuition-based model with scholarship opportunities for those who qualify.

• 16 hours per week (two 8-hour days)
• Curriculum-based training in agriculture, animal care, art programming, and sustainability
• Shadowing and skill-building alongside farm staff
• Participation in farm tasks, animal husbandry, youth education activities, and community programs
• Weekly educational packet tailored to the intern’s projects and goals
• End-of-season evaluation and portfolio review

• Over 40 hours of classroom-style instruction during the season
• Training in sustainable systems, ethical farming, and community-based agricultural leadership
• Participation in youth and community programs as schedule allows
Tuition: $125 per month (8 months = $1,000 total)

Application: Email elevatedearth.org@gmail.com with subject line Full-Season Internship Application

Educational Focus and Mission
Interns learn how farms can serve as responsible members of their communities while improving resilience, self-reliance, and ethical stewardship of land and animals. The program emphasizes critical thinking, creativity, emotional maturity, and practical agricultural skills. Interns engage with topics such as sustainable practices, natural systems, community service, and the ability to contribute meaningful ideas to the growth of Elevated Earth.

Community Engagement and Leadership
Interns often assist with volunteers, participate in youth educational activities, and help shape community art-and-ag programs. They learn collaborative communication, problem-solving, and how to be changemakers in a system often shaped by industrial farming, outdated practices, and environmental harm.

Supportive Learning Environment
The internship experience is grounded in mutual respect, shared responsibility, and a commitment to personal growth. Interns receive regular check-ins, approachable feedback, and the support of staff who integrate both science and creativity into the learning process.

Elevated Earth Ferret Rescue: Comapssion, Education, & Second Chances

At Elevated Earth, our mission reaches far beyond education—we care for the whole ecosystem of well-being: people, animals, and the land. As a nonprofit founded by a licensed mental health counselor with expertise in higher education, we’re dedicated to promoting holistic wellness through art, agriculture, animal care, and compassionate community learning.

Our Ferret Rescue is a vital part of that mission.

We provide a safe, nurturing haven for ferrets who have been abandoned, surrendered, displaced, or simply need a temporary home. Our facility accepts ferrets in need and makes adoptable ferrets available to loving, responsible families. For those who need a trusted place to stay while their families travel or move, we also offer ferret boarding services to the public.

Ferrets at Elevated Earth are more than rescue animals—they are beloved members of our learning community.
When appropriate for their age, health, and temperament, our ferrets participate in educational programs, animal-assisted activities, and hands-on animal care experiences. Their presence helps children, teens, and adults cultivate empathy, responsibility, sustainability, and emotional connection. They bring joy, spark curiosity, and teach gentle stewardship—values at the heart of who we are.

What We Provide:

  1. Safe, clean enclosures and enrichment

  2. High-quality nutrition and habitat supplies

  3. Socialization, playtime, and stress-reduction

  4. Adoption placement for suitable homes

  5. Boarding for ferrets whose families need temporary care

  6. Education on responsible ferret ownership and welfare

A Community Effort
We welcome volunteers of all ages and experience levels to join us. Whether helping with daily care, assisting in programs, or participating in community events, volunteers make it possible for us to give every ferret the love and attention they deserve.

Through animal rescue, education, and hands-on connection, we empower people to care for animals, the environment, and themselves.
