about us

Through a diverse array of arts programming, agricultural experiences, educational opportunities, and community initiatives, we cultivate spaces where creativity, curiosity, connection, and lifelong learning can flourish.

Our Mission

At Elevated Earth, we believe art, agriculture, and community have the power to enrich lives and bring people together. Through creative experiences, hands-on learning, educational programs, and community-centered initiatives, we create opportunities for people of all ages to explore, learn, connect, and grow.

Rooted in rural Alabama, our work bridges creativity and stewardship through art classes, agricultural workshops, summer enrichment programs, community events, and public arts initiatives such as Art on the River. We believe meaningful learning happens when people engage with the world around them, develop new skills, build relationships, and discover their own capacity to create and contribute.

Our mission is to cultivate spaces where curiosity is encouraged, creativity is celebrated, and communities are strengthened. Whether through a child’s first art project, a family workshop, a community gathering, or an artist exhibition, we strive to create experiences that foster connection, lifelong learning, and a deeper appreciation for both the arts and the land.

By bringing together art, agriculture, and community, we are planting seeds for a more creative, connected, and vibrant future.

Our Values

At Elevated Earth, we believe creativity, stewardship, and community are essential to human flourishing. Through art, agriculture, education, and shared experiences, we create opportunities for people of all ages to learn, grow, and connect with the world around them.

We value curiosity, lifelong learning, creative expression, and meaningful relationships. We believe that working with our hands, engaging with the land, creating art, and participating in community life help people develop confidence, resilience, and a deeper sense of purpose.

Our programs are rooted in the belief that growth happens through experience. Whether planting a garden, creating a work of art, learning a new skill, participating in a workshop, or contributing to a community project, each experience offers an opportunity to discover, create, and belong.

By bringing together art, agriculture, and community, we strive to cultivate spaces where people feel welcomed, creativity is encouraged, and meaningful connections can take root. We believe these small experiences have the power to strengthen individuals, enrich communities, and create lasting positive change for generations to come.

What We Do

At Elevated Earth, we believe art, agriculture, and community have the power to bring people together, inspire creativity, and create meaningful opportunities for growth. Through hands-on experiences, educational programs, workshops, exhibitions, and community events, we create spaces where people of all ages can learn, create, connect, and contribute.

Rooted in rural Alabama and connected to the growing arts community in nearby Elba, our programs are designed to make creativity and learning accessible while fostering curiosity, stewardship, collaboration, and lifelong learning. Whether someone is attending a workshop, participating in a summer program, exhibiting artwork, learning agricultural skills, or simply gathering with others around a shared interest, our goal is to cultivate experiences that strengthen both individuals and communities.

We believe that meaningful learning happens through experience. By engaging with the arts, the land, and one another, participants develop confidence, practical skills, creative thinking, and a deeper connection to the world around them.

What We Offer

Elevated Earth brings together art, agriculture, education, and community through hands-on experiences designed to inspire creativity, curiosity, and connection. Located on 105 acres in rural Jack, Alabama, and connected to our community arts initiatives in nearby Elba, we provide opportunities for people of all ages to learn, create, and grow through meaningful engagement with both the arts and the land.

Our programs include summer enrichment experiences, community art workshops, agricultural workshops and day camps, youth arts initiatives, artist collaborations, and public exhibitions through Art on the River. Whether someone is attending a workshop, exploring a new creative medium, learning agricultural skills, participating in a community project, or exhibiting their work for the first time, our goal is to create welcoming opportunities that encourage lifelong learning and meaningful connection.

We believe creativity and stewardship are skills that can be nurtured through experience. By engaging with art, agriculture, and community, participants develop confidence, practical knowledge, creative problem-solving abilities, and a deeper appreciation for the people and environments that shape their lives. Through these experiences, we hope to cultivate not only individual growth but also a stronger, more vibrant, and more connected community.

Why Agriculture?

Agriculture teaches lessons that extend far beyond the garden. It encourages patience, responsibility, observation, stewardship, and an appreciation for the systems that sustain our communities. Through gardening, animal care, food production, and hands-on agricultural experiences, participants gain practical skills while developing a deeper understanding of the natural world.

Whether planting seeds, harvesting crops, caring for animals, or learning sustainable growing practices, agricultural experiences provide opportunities to connect with the land, understand where food comes from, and participate in something larger than ourselves. These experiences foster curiosity, resilience, problem-solving, and a lifelong respect for the environment and the communities that depend upon it.

Why Art?

Art invites us to observe, imagine, create, and connect. It provides opportunities for self-expression, exploration, and communication while encouraging creativity, confidence, and critical thinking. Through drawing, painting, mixed media, sculpture, fiber arts, and other creative practices, participants discover new ways to engage with both themselves and the world around them.

At Elevated Earth, we believe creativity is not reserved for a select few, it is a natural part of being human. Art creates opportunities for people to share stories, build relationships, celebrate diverse perspectives, and contribute to a vibrant creative community. Whether someone is creating their first piece of artwork or exhibiting in a gallery, the creative process offers meaningful opportunities for growth, connection, and discovery.

Looking Ahead

We believe art inspires, agriculture teaches, and community connects. Together, they create opportunities for people to learn, create, and thrive.

As Elevated Earth continues to grow, we look forward to expanding workshops, educational programs, artist opportunities, youth initiatives, and community events that bring people together through creativity and shared experience.

Thank you for being part of the journey.
